Our client are a precision engineering firm who are looking to recruit a experienced production manager to join the team. Job Summary: The Production Manager will oversee the CNC workshop, Assembly & Finishing departments. This role involves managing a team of 8 across various departments. Seƫng up and maintaining production procedures, Producing CAM programs when required, and optimizing manufacturing processes and ensuring high product quality. Key Responsibilities: Production Management: • Oversee daily production operations to ensure product output. • Produce CAM Programs when required, with a hands on approach to the setup of CNC Vertical Machining centres and CNC Lathes . • Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet demand. • Establish and maintain production procedures. • Monitor and refine production processes, adjust schedules as needed, and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime. Quality Control: • Implement quality assurance protocols to ensure all products meet company standards. • Address and resolve quality issues promptly. Apprenticeship Program: • Provide training and development opportunities for apprentices. • Monitor progress and ensure apprentices gain relevant skills and experience.
