An established precision engineering manufacturer supplying complex, high-tolerance components to demanding industries is seeking an experienced CNC Milling Programmer to join its production team.
The Role
This is a hands-on position responsible for the programming, setting and operating of CNC milling machines to manufacture components in line with engineering drawings, customer requirements and strict quality standards.
Key Responsibilities

Online programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines
*
Machining precision components to tight tolerances
*
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and cutting patterns
*
Maximising material utilisation and minimising scrap and waste
*
Handling materials and components safely and correctly
*
Maintaining accurate production and stock control documentation
*
Ensuring full compliance with quality procedures and H&S regulations
*
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
*
Assisting with training and upskilling of other operatives where required
