CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator Location: Hayes, West London Job Type: Permanent Hours: 39 hours per week (day shift), with selected overtime depending on workload We are currently seeking a skilled and proactive CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator to join a busy precision engineering team based in Hayes, West London. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with CNC milling, specifically on Hurco 3-axis machines, and occasionally using 4th-axis rotary tables. This is a permanent role offering the opportunity to work on high-quality, tight-tolerance components for various subcontract engineering projects. Key Responsibilities of CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator Program CNC milling machines using Hurco WinMax controls directly at the machine or via CAM software. Set and operate 3-axis CNC mills, including the use of 4th-axis rotary tables when required. Read and interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and technical specifications. Select appropriate tooling, speeds, and feeds for efficient CNC machining. Inspect components using measuring tools such as verniers, micrometers, and gauges.
