Field Service Engineer – CNC Machine Tools

We’re looking for a highly skilled field service engineer to join a leading name in the CNC machine tool sector, working in the field with their customers around the M62 corridor. This role is primarily focused on machine installation and commissioning, ensuring customers experience a seamless setup and optimal machine performance. You'll also provide ongoing service and maintenance support, helping to minimise downtime and maximise efficiency. If you have a strong mechanical and electrical background, experience working with CNC or industrial machinery, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently, this could be a great opportunity.

Key responsibilities

Install and commission CNC machine tools at customer sites, ensuring full functionality and compliance with specifications.

Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control system issues during installation and in-service calls.

Provide operator training and technical guidance, ensuring customers can effectively use and maintain their machines.

Perform routine servicing and preventive maintenance to extend equipment lifespan and reduce unexpected breakdowns.

Collaborate with internal teams to optimise installation processes and improve overall service efficiency.
