Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Miller Setter/Operator to join our dynamic and growing manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual with a strong background in CNC machining and problem-solving in a fast-paced, high-precision environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up, and operate, CNC milling machines (3, 4, or 5-axis).
  • Interpret technical drawings and CAD/CAM data.
  • Select and fit appropriate tooling, materials, and fixtures.
  • Perform in-process quality checks and adjust programs as needed.
  • Maintain machinery and ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes.

About You:

  • Minimum 35 years of hands-on CNC milling experience.
  • Proficient in setting and operating.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Comfortable working to tight tolerances in low- or medium-batch production.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Positive attitude and a team-player mentality.

Desirable (but not essential):

  • Experience with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Edgecam).
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methods.
  • Previous experience in precision engineering sectors.
