Pay Range £12.37 - £16.05 + shift premium (33% nights/40% weekend nights)

Band 4-6 (eq £32,081 to £43,817) fully depending on experience

Our client, Yamazaki Mazak is a leading global manufacturing company based in Worcester.

This is an excellent opportunity to work for a market leading Machine Tool manufacturer who have been at the forefront of the industry for many years.

Job Description

Setting & operating 4 & 5 axis machining centres.
Producing a wide & varied range of highly toleranced parts which are used in the manufacture of Mazak CNC machines.
Understand Mazak CNC controls & offer improvement ideas to the role.
Work within a team of fellow engineers to strict health & safety guidelines & rules.
Play your part in promoting positive culture amongst staff by engaging in H&S improvements & kaizen initiatives.
Essential Criteria

Have an understanding of milling/machining centre machines.
Have experience & can safely set & operate automated CNC loaded machine tools.
Have experience with cutting tools, fixtures & measuring equipment.
Have a can-do attitude.
Prior experience working within a team in a busy manufacturing environment.
Desirable Criteria

Can edit & alter programs,
Would have served a mechanical engineering apprenticeship.

Working hours are Sunday to Thursday 10.00pm to 6.00am - Nights
Working hours are Friday to Sunday 6:00pm to 6:30am (paid lunch) - Weekend Nights

Overtime is paid at Time 1/3 first 2 hours then Time 1/2 thereafter each day. Saturday is Time 1/2 and Sunday Double Time.
