CNC Sliding Head Lathe Setter/Operator

Marble Talent Group are currently recruiting for a CNC sliding head lathe setter and operator based in a machine shop in Great Barr!
Responsibilities -
* Set and operate CNC sliding head lathes
* Program and adjust CNC programmes
* Prepare tooling and run production
* Inspect parts and maintain tolerances
* Monitor performance and minimise scrap
* Support machining, rework, and prototype work
* Operate manual machines
* Maintain a clean, safe workspace
Personal Requirements -
* Proven experience setting and operating CNC sliding head lathes
* CNC programming experience
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Experience with Fanuc controls (or similar)
* Experience using manual lathes and milling machines
Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm
Salary: £35k per year
