Monday – Friday, 07:30 – 16:00 (Early finish Friday)

CNC Turner – Programmer / Setter / Operator (Mazak / Fanuc) The Role

We’re recruiting for an experienced CNC Turner (Programmer / Setter / Operator) to join a growing precision engineering company working across aerospace, automotive and F1 industries.

This is a hands-on role working on a mix of one-offs, prototypes, and small to medium batch production, offering plenty of variety and technical challenge.

CNC Turner – Programmer / Setter / Operator (Mazak / Fanuc) Key Responsibilities

* Set and operate CNC lathes using Mazak or Fanuc controls

* Program online (or offline if experienced) – highly advantageous

* Machine components to tight tolerances

* Work from engineering drawings and specifications

* Produce one-off, prototype and batch work

* Select tooling and adjust offsets to maintain quality

* Inspect own work to ensure it meets required standards

* Work with a range of materials including exotics and hard metals

CNC Turner – Programmer / Setter / Operator (Mazak / Fanuc) Requirements

* Proven experience as a CNC Turner (Setter / Operator or Programmer)

* Strong experience with Mazak or Fanuc controls

* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

* Experience working to tight tolerances

* Knowledge of different materials and machining techniques

* Programming experience beneficial but not essential

* Reliable, detail-focused, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
