They require a self-motivated and professional machinist to support the Works Manager with setting up and programming a range of modern, well maintained machine tools. Other primary duties may include: The consistent production of high quality, close tolerance, low volume components Assist with overseeing tooling, jaw set up and program management. Supporting turning operations across multi-axis, multi-spindle and live tooling lathes. Assist with the production of pre-sales prototype components. Assist R&D and Sales teams with estimating and costing RFI's / quotations and tenders. Process improvement and operational optimisation.
