Location: Close to Southend Airport
Salary: £35,000
Working Pattern: Monday–Thursday, 06:45–16:30 (37 hours, 4-day week)

Syntech Recruitment are working with a well-established precision engineering business seeking an experienced CNC Turner (Set & Operate, Edit) to join their production team.

CNC Turner Responsibilities:

Set and operate CNC turning machines

*

Make programme edits at the machine (Fanuc or similar controls)

*

Manufacture components to tight tolerances

*

Interpret engineering drawings and specifications

*

Conduct first-off and in-process inspections

*

Use precision measuring equipment confidently

*

Maintain machine performance and basic preventative maintenance

*

Ensure safe working practices at all times

CNC Turner Experience:

*

Proven experience in CNC turning (set & operate level)

*

Experience editing programmes at the machine

*

Ability to read and understand technical drawings

*

Strong inspection and measurement skills

*

Reliable, quality-driven and team-oriented approach
