Due to continued growth, they are currently recruiting a Turner Programmer / Setter Operator. The ideal candidate will be an experienced CNC Turner, able to read and programme in Fanuc. Experience of using Twin-Spindle or Twin-Head machines will be an advantage

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

* CNC Turning / Machine Programming / Setting and Operating

* Programming primarily using Fanuc

* Manufacturing components to tight tolerances

* Operating Twin-Spindle or Twin-Head Machines

* Setting and operating 5 axis machines

* Using Live Tooling for Milled features

* Maintain and managing own supply of consumables

* Interpreting and working to Engineering drawings

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

ESSENTIAL

* Time served apprenticeship in CNC Turning

* Demonstrable post apprenticeship experience in a similar CNC turning and Programming / Setting and Operating role

* Experience programming and setting twin spindle lathes

* Ability to read and program using Fanuc

* Able to interpret engineering drawings

DESIRABLE NOT ESSENTIAL

* Able to use FeatureCam software / HNC, HND or similar / Experience setting and operating 5-axis machines / Ability to program and set Twin-Spindle or Twin-Head Machines / Experience using live tooling for milled features

DETAILS OF PACKAGE

Up to £43,000 PA + Overtime + Competitive benefits / 37 Hour week
