CNC Turner – Setter / Operator Location: Bedford Job Type: Permanent We are currently recruiting for a skilled CNC Turner (Setter / Operator) to join a well-established and growing manufacturing business based in Bedford. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term role within a busy, precision engineering environment. Working within a dedicated machine cell, you will be responsible for the setting and operation of CNC lathes , producing high-quality components to tight tolerances. Key Responsibilities Set and operate CNC turning machines to manufacture precision components Select and install appropriate tooling, offsets, and fixtures Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications Conduct in-process and final inspection using measuring equipment (e.g. micrometers, verniers, gauges) Identify and resolve machining issues to maintain production efficiency Work collaboratively with the production team to meet output targets and deadlines Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment Requirements Proven experience as a CNC Turner / CNC Lathe Setter Operator Strong background in setting and operating CNC turning machines Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Experience using inspection and...
