Flexible start: 06:30 | Flexible finish: 17:30

Friday:
Core hours: 08:30 12:30 (no lunch break)
Flexible start: 06:30 | Flexible finish: 14:00

Note: Early Friday finish requires additional hours to be worked MondayThursday in line with contracted hours.

About the Opportunity

Bolt Technical are recruiting for a CNC Turner Setter/Operator to join a specialist manufacturing business based in Telford.

This company operates in a highly technical environment, producing precision-machined components for industries including semi-conductor and mass spectrometry. This is a great opportunity for an experienced CNC Turner to join a growing and well-established team, with ongoing training and development available.

Key Responsibilities

Set and operate CNC turning machines to engineering drawings
Work with Fanuc or XYZ Proturn control systems
Interpret technical drawings and customer specifications
Edit CNC programs where required
Use measuring equipment to ensure high levels of accuracy and quality
Carry out in-process inspection and maintain quality standards
Identify opportunities for process improvement
Work closely with production and engineering teams

What Theyre Looking For

Proven experience as a CNC Turner (setting and operating)
Experience with Fanuc or XYZ Proturn controls
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Competent in the use of measuring equipment
Programming experience beneficial but not essential (training provided)
Strong attention to detail and quality-focused approach
Good communication and teamwork skills
