A well-established precision engineering company, specialising in high-spec metallic components for the aerospace industry, is seeking a skilled CNC Turner to join its growing team.

Key Responsibilities: Setting and operating CNC turning machines (2/3 axis and multi-axis lathes – Fanuc or similar controls) Producing precision-engineered components to tight tolerances from a range of materials Editing offsets, tool changes, and basic program adjustments at the machine Interpreting engineering drawings and ensuring components meet specification Monitoring production output to meet quality and delivery targets Carrying out in-process inspection using measuring equipment (micrometers, verniers, gauges) Identifying and reporting any quality or production issues (NRFT) Supporting continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S and process optimisation Attending daily SQDCP production meetings Ensuring correct documentation, tooling, and materials are used at all times Working collaboratively with team members to meet production schedules Providing flexibility to support operations at a nearby site if required
