CNC Turning Setters

We are currently looking for Precision Turners to work within a large, multi skilled business with strong career opportunities and growth.

Main Duties:

Set, Program and maintain CNC lathes to produce parts to required tolerances.

Interpret and work from engineering drawings, technical specifications, and work instructions.

Select and install appropriate tooling, jigs, and fixtures.

Conduct first-off and in-process inspection using measuring equipment

Ensure all work meets internal and customer quality standards.

Setting Doosans, Tornos, Dahlih, Mazak or STARR Machines

Assist with continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.

Complete production documentation accurately and on time.

Support staff with Setting issues.

Experience & Skills:

Proven experience as CNC Turner in a manufacturing or engineering environment.

A minimum of 5 years experience Turning and or Apprentice Trained

Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings.

Competent in using precision measuring equipment.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. xbpsjku

Set a variety of Turning machines/Programs

Working on a rotation shift - & 1400-2200 Monday to Friday.
