Location: Doncaster Delivery Office, DN4 5NE | Job type: Permanent contract | Hours: 23 hours per week, Monday to Saturday, 14:30 – 19:00.

Schedule: Requires working Saturdays according to a local rota/plan.

About the role

In this multi‑drop driver role you will not only drive and deliver, but also prepare your van and workload for the day, using route‑planning technology to ensure each parcel reaches the right place at the right time.

Your deliveries go beyond parcels; you deliver for the people, ensuring our customers’ days are a little brighter.

  • Upbeat, self‑motivated and thrives whilst working independently
  • Organised, punctual with great initiative
  • Committed to the delivery of great customer service
  • Comfortable interacting with customers, acting as a positive ambassador for Royal Mail
  • Happy to work in the afternoon and early evenings
  • Enjoy a multi‑drop driving role, delivering parcels across the week in the assigned area
  • Possess a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points

What we do for you

  • Guaranteed hourly rate of £13.06p/h (paid monthly and adjusted to your working hours)
  • Paid overtime at an enhanced rate of x1.25 for any hours worked over 40 hours a week
  • 22.5 days holiday, rising with length of service (adjusted to your working hours if below 40 hours a week)

Please note: For candidate search purposes, roles offering between 35–40 hours per week are listed as full‑time. However, any role under 40 hours per week will be classified as part‑time in the employment contract.
