A great opportunity has arisen with a long standing independent broker in Ossett who are looking to add an Account Handler to the team due to business growth and planning ahead for 2026.


Our client is a growing, forward thinking business offering a supportive working environment and scope for career and personal development.


In return you can expect a varied working day to include:


  • Managing your allocated portfolio of key clients with premiums typically between £5k - £75k
  • Supporting clients with customer service issues, renewals and adjustments to their policies
  • Working closely, effectively and efficiently with client facing Account Executives and Directors
  • Broking new and existing risks
  • Liaising with insurers on a regular basis
  • Attending meetings with clients alongside an Account Executive
  • Working towards professional studies
  • Using Acturis on a daily basis


This is a superb opportunity for someone with 12 to 18 months commercial insurance experience that is looking to progress themselves further. In order to be a successful part of this team you must be an excellent communicator with good decision-making skills, outstanding attention to detail and a focus on hitting deadlines. You will be driven by excellence in everything that you do and take pride in both the standard of your work as well as that of your team.
