Our client, a leading manufacturing business based in Mitcham, is seeking a Commercial Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting and insightful analysis that drives strategic decision-making.
About the Role
You will manage financial figures within the ERP system, produce month-end reporting packs and support process improvements across the finance function. This is a hands-on role that involves liaising with auditors, preparing statutory accounts, contributing to budgeting and forecasting processes. The position suits someone with an analytical background who thrives on data-driven work and enjoys collaborating with commercial teams.
Key Responsibilities
Involvement in the day-to-day operations of a busy finance department. Maintain and control financial data within the ERP system (e.g., SAGE), including balance sheet reconciliations and order management. Support the Financial Controller in producing and reviewing month-end reporting packs to strict deadlines, including group-level reporting. Prepare monthly and ad-hoc financial reports, including KPIs and sustainability metrics Deliver ad-hoc reporting for team members, particularly focused on cost-saving opportunities. ...
