COMPANY

A leading player in the travel retail sector has recently secured a major UK contract and is scaling up its commercial operations. As part of this next growth phase, they’re creating a new Commercial Data Analyst role to turn data into strategy!

THE ROLE

• Partnering with Commercial and Buying teams to deliver actionable insight
• Building Excel models and tools to evaluate promotions, margins, and forecasts
• Supporting development and rollout of PowerBI dashboards
• Reconciling data across multiple systems (Excel, SAP, etc.)
• Presenting findings to leadership and influencing commercial decision-making
• Highlighting risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities through data

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Advanced Excel is essential for modelling, dashboards, and ad hoc analysis
• Some experience with PowerBI is ideal as you may have future ownership of reporting suite
• Familiarity with SAP for extracting and reconciling complex datasets
• Retail or FMCG background ideal to show an understanding of pricing, margin, stock, and promotion dynamics
