The Role This role blends commercial leadership with front-of-house hospitality. Key Responsibilities Revenue & Commercial Performance Drive room revenue through pricing strategy, promotions and distribution management Monitor performance across OTA channels, GDS, and other booking platforms Identify opportunities to increase ADR, occupancy and per-guest revenue Track booking trends and performance data to optimise commercial results Support the growth of direct bookings and repeat guest visits Sales & Promotions Develop creative booking promotions and experience packages Identify corporate, tourism and event partnerships Promote special offers aligned with local demand and major events in Belfast Support marketing initiatives that strengthen brand visibility and bookings Front of House Leadership Lead and support the front-of-house and guest services team Create a warm, personality-driven service culture Train team members to recognise upselling opportunities Ensure smooth daily operations, including arrivals, departures and guest requests Maintain exceptional standards across all guest-facing areas Guest Experience & Reputation Deliver personalised and memorable guest experiences Maintain strong guest ratings Encourage repeat stays and guest loyalty Protect the distinctive personality and storytelling that defines The Harrison About The Harrison The Harrison Chambers of Distinction is an independent, design-led boutique hotel located in the vibrant heart of Belfast. Our recent expansion has doubled the size of the property, creating new opportunities to grow our brand, strengthen our commercial performance and further elevate the guest experience. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in shaping the next stage of our growth. What Success Looks Like in the First 12 Months In this role, success will include: Supporting significant improvements in occupancy, ADR and overall room revenue Increasing the proportion of direct bookings versus OTA channels Launching creative packages and promotions that generate new demand Maintaining excellent guest review scores and reputation Building a confident, guest-focused front-of-house team Strengthening the position of The Harrison as one of Belfasts most distinctive boutique hotels Experience & Background We are seeking a candidate with experience in hospitality, guest-facing leadership and proven commercial performance. Ideal candidates will have: 35 years experience in hotel operations, front-of-house leadership or commercial sales Experience working within high-end hospitality environments Understanding of OTA channels, reservations systems and hotel distribution Experience developing sales promotions, packages or guest experiences A strong track record of delivering exceptional guest service Personal Qualities We are looking for someone who is: Commercially driven and motivated by revenue growth Naturally warm, engaging and passionate about hospitality Confident leading front-of-house teams and maintaining high service standards Creative and entrepreneurial in developing guest experiences and promotions Organised, proactive and comfortable analysing performance data Salary & Benefits We offer a competitive package reflecting the commercial responsibility of this role. Salary: £40,000 £48,000 per year
