Job description: The role requires strong commercial management experience, ideally with an accountancy background, and proven contract management skills in a client facing environment. The Commercial Assistantmust confidently analyse complex issues, co-ordinate across multi-disciplinary teams, and ensure compliance with contractual, financial and operational requirements. Excellent communication, stakeholder management and the ability to influence both internal teams and customers are essential. The role also demands strong organisation, meticulous recordkeeping, and the ability to manage contract changes, approvals and documentation. A collaborative working style and the ability to build trusted relationships are key to supporting bids, revenue opportunities and ongoing contract governance. How you create impact Working across multi-disciplined teams to ensure contractual obligations can be met. Work closely with the Commercial Manager to ensure funding is in place to proceed with new projects and/or additional scoped activity through liaison with Finance and Program teams as required. Engage requisite areas of the business to support business unit projects and initiatives, including revenue generation opportunities.
