Responsibilities
Analyse commercial performance across stores, online channels, and product categories, helping the business understand trading trends and identify opportunities to improve sales, margin, and customer outcomes.
Own and deliver weekly commercial insight reporting for the leadership team, summarising key performance indicators including sales performance, margin, stock levels, customer trends, and profitability.
Develop and maintain reporting solutions using Power BI, Jet Analytics, and Report Builder, ensuring reports remain accurate, visually clear, and aligned with business priorities.
Delivering clear and reliable commercial reporting used by senior leadership to understand business performance.
Supporting the transition to a modern reporting landscape as Business Central and associated reporting tools are introduced, helping ensure commercial reporting remains accurate during the transition from legacy systems.

Qualifications
Strong experience writing SQL queries to extract and analyse data from relational databases.
Hands‑on experience building dashboards and reporting solutions using Microsoft Power BI.
Experience of working with Microsoft SQL Server and Azure‑based data environments, alongside the broader Microsoft BI ecosystem.
Previous experience in a BI, reporting, or analytics role, ideally within a retail or commercial environment.
Strong understanding of retail KPIs such as like‑for‑like sales, margin analysis, stock turnover, and customer performance metrics.
Excellent analytical thinking with the ability to turn complex datasets into clear commercial insights.
Curious and analytical, with a genuine interest in understanding how data explains business performance.
Detail‑oriented, with a strong commitment to data accuracy and reporting quality.
Collaborative and approachable, supporting colleagues in making better use of data.
A team player with a strong work ethic.
Reliable, organised and confident in systems analysis.
Comfortable using systems and following processes with confidence in problem‑solving.

Location & Hours
Slough - 40 Hour Contract - Working 5 days a week - Monday - Friday with a minimum of 3 days in the office per week.
Compensation & Benefits
£42,000 OTE £48,300 - Competitive Pension, Family Partnership & much more.
Competitive package: £42,000 plus up to 15% bonus.
