The Role: Project Manager – Business Change

This is a hands-on role for a capable and organised Project Manager who thrives in an SME setting (c.500 people). You’ll lead the end-to-end delivery of varied, cross-functional business projects—ranging from process improvements and system implementations to broader business transformation initiatives.

You’ll work closely with functional teams, stakeholders, and the wider change community to ensure that projects are delivered on time, on scope, and on budget, with a clear focus on solving problems and driving business value.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and delivery of commercial and operational projects across departments—setting clear goals, timelines, and success criteria.
• Work with teams to identify risks, remove blockers, and keep delivery on track.
• Use sound judgement and problem-solving skills to adapt plans and overcome challenges as they arise.
• Coordinate people and resources to ensure projects run efficiently and deliver the intended outcomes.
• Communicate clearly and regularly with stakeholders, managing expectations and providing visibility on progress.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation including plans, risk logs, and status reports.
• Support the continued development of project and change capability across the business.

What We’re Looking For

We’re not looking for a senior strategist or a pure change manager—we’re looking for a strong all-rounder who knows how to run a project well, communicate clearly, and make things happen.

You’ll Need:

• Proven experience managing a variety of business projects, ideally in an SME or similar dynamic environment.
• Strong delivery focus—able to plan, organise, and execute projects from initiation through to completion.
• Comfortable managing risks, dependencies, and deadlines while juggling multiple priorities.
• A practical, problem-solving mindset and the ability to work through ambiguity.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Competency with project tools like MS Project, Wrike, and Microsoft Office.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., PRINCE2, AgilePM, APM) and/or equivalent practical experience.

Desirable:

• 5–10 years of relevant project management experience.
• Exposure to change initiatives and business transformation.
• Experience working within a regulated or product-led organisation.
