Location: London – Hybrid (2-3 days per week) – Travel across the UK as needed

Salary: up to £75,000

Our client, an international services business, currently have an opportunity for a Commercial Contract Manager, within a fast growing commercial department, this is a unique opportunity, a chance to be truly impactful and shape the future of the organisation.

The company have a long and successful history of delivering large projects to various private and public sectors clients and looking for ambitious, commercially minded individuals who are looking to progress their careers in a reputable function.

The role holder will have the opportunity to lead a portfolio of high value contracts with existing clients in the healthcare sector and help with retention / winning new business through acting as a trusted advisor to the business and client.


You Will

  • Identify the risks, liabilities, and commitments of contractual agreements; ensure these are clearly understood and that the business fully appreciates any potential impact.
  • Review, draft, update and maintain contract documents
  • Monitor and report performance and compliance against contractual obligations including commercial performance, financial management and contract management
  • Monitor customer satisfaction
  • Work with the contract delivery teams to ensure that the management of change request process and change implementation is carried out in line with the contracts.
  • Report on progress of change requests and projects
  • Review contract performance, assessing commercial risks and ensuring appropriate steps are taken to manage the risk
  • Prevent and resolve contractual disputes
  • Assuring adherence to Group Commercial Policy
  • Supporting the client engagement teams in all commercial aspects, post contract signature, to achieve the orders, profit and cash budget and overall management of the Client relationship.
  • Support the delivery streams who are responsible for the delivery of projects and provide clear direction working with the client engagement team.


The Person

  • Experience of working in the healthcare industry would be advantageous
  • Growth minding – looking at maximising value and minimising risk
  • Experience of working closely with finance, operations and technical specialists
  • Good on both the legals and financials
