Commercial & Contract Manager (IT / Digital Procurement)Location: London (Hybrid Working)Salary: Up to £63,000An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial & Contract Manager to join a forward-thinking public sector organisation that is investing heavily in digital transformation, technology services, and modern procurement strategies.The organisation's Customer, Technology & Data Services (CTDS) function is responsible for delivering innovative and efficient ways of procuring digital and IT services, ensuring high-quality services, strong supplier relationships, and value for money.This role will play a key part in managing IT and digital supplier contracts, leading procurement activities, and driving commercial value across technology services. You will collaborate with teams across technology, procurement, finance, legal, and operational services in a fast-paced and agile working environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end IT and digital procurement activities, including market engagement, tender preparation, evaluation, and contract award.Manage the full lifecycle of ICT contracts, including negotiation, performance monitoring, and contract renewals.Build and maintain strategic relationships with technology suppliers and vendors.Monitor supplier performance against KPIs, SLAs, and contractual obligations.Investigate and resolve contractual disputes, negotiating variations or amendments where necessary.Maintain and manage the IT contract register, ensuring timely renewals and compliance.Identify and deliver cost savings, efficiency improvements, and social value opportunities.Work closely with internal stakeholders including technology teams, procurement, legal, and finance to develop procurement strategies.Provide data-driven insights and reporting to support commercial decision making and strategic improvements.Experience Required5+ years' experience in a Commercial or Contracts Manager role.Strong experience in IT / Digital / Technology procurement and supplier management.Proven experience managing end-to-end procurement processes.Excellent knowledge of public sector procurement regulations including Procurement Act 2023 and PCR2015.Experience managing large and complex public sector contracts.Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and relationship building skills.Ability to analyse commercial data and deliver strategic recommendations.QualificationsMCIPS qualification or a degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Contract Management (or equivalent experience).Strong understanding of contract law principles, including liabilities, indemnities, warranties, and termination clauses.If you are an experienced IT Commercial or Contracts Manager looking to work in a dynamic public sector environment, we would love to hear from you.JBRP1_UKTJ
