Commercial Coordinator – CivilsSalary: £35,000-£40,000 Location: Doncaster (with travel to client sites, suppliers, and project locations) Hours: Monday–Friday | 8:30–16:30 Job Type: Full Time, PermanentWorking closely with the Civils Project Controls Manager, you will support project delivery through accurate estimating, supply chain management, commercial administration, and client-facing activities. If you're looking for a role that blends office-based work with site visits and offers genuine development opportunities, this could be a great fit.Benefits Clear development and progression pathwaysExposure to a wide range of civils and construction projectsSupport with professional training and qualificationsCompany pension schemeLife assuranceOpportunity to influence commercial processes and supply chain strategy Key Responsibilities Visit client sites to understand project requirements, carry out surveys, and define scopePrepare work proposals in collaboration with civils managementProduce accurate estimates and quotations in line with company proceduresPresent draft quotations for internal review and approvalManage the civils supply chain, securing competitive pricing for plant, materials, subcontractors, and consultantsLead commercial negotiations to secure discounts and rebatesMaintain and update supplier databases/CRM systemsSupport procurement activities, including raising purchase ordersPrepare project-related HSE documentationLiaise with Accounts to resolve supplier invoice queriesReconcile deliveries against invoices where requiredEnsure timely invoicing for completed works and manage interim invoicingMonitor and support project cash flow, ensuring prompt payment and accurate billing Skills, Qualifications & TrainingEssential Degree or HNC in Civils, Construction Management, or Quantity SurveyingStrong IT skills (Microsoft Office, CRM systems, etc.)Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities Desirable RICS accreditation or working towards it ExperienceEssential Minimum 5 years' experience in quantity surveying or estimating within construction Desirable Experience in civils, utilities, or infrastructure environments ESG Responsibilities Demonstrate environmental awareness in day-to-day work and consider the impact on local communitiesAdhere to Anti-Bribery and Corruption policiesReport any unethical behaviour through the company's Whistleblowing policy Similar Job TitlesCommercial Support Officer, Assistant Quantity Surveyor, Civils Estimator, Commercial Administrator, Project Commercial Coordinator, Procurement & Commercial OfficerFor further information or to discuss similar opportunities, contact Reegan on 07969 154727 or email INDTEJBRP1_UKTJ
