Commercial Director (Construction) – South Wales
Pro Staff Construction Ltd are working with a client in South Wales who is looking to appoint an experienced Commercial Director to join their senior leadership team.
This is a key strategic role, overseeing a team of Quantity Surveyors and working closely with operational, technical, and senior management teams to drive strong commercial performance across the business.
The Role

Lead and manage the commercial function across multiple projects
*
Oversee and mentor a team of Quantity Surveyors
*
Work closely with senior leadership and other departments
*
Provide commercial strategy, governance, and risk management
*
Drive cost control, value engineering, and profitability
Requirements
*
Proven experience in a Commercial Director or Senior Commercial leadership role
*
Strong background within construction (ideally main contracting or development)
*
Demonstrable experience managing and leading commercial teams
*
Strong commercial acumen and leadership skills
*
Ability to influence at senior management and board level
