The Job
\n
As the Commercial Editorial Manager your responsibilities will include:
\n
\n
\n
Identify and develop commercial opportunities across editorial content, from daily reactive stories to longer-term strategic initiatives
\n
Partner with editorial teams to align content with revenue potential and shape commercially viable ideas
\n
Create and pitch proactive content opportunities, including news-led and evergreen partnerships
\n
Collaborate with Sales to build and package 360° commercial solutions
\n
Lead editorial integration on key partnerships, managing client relationships and campaign delivery
\n
Oversee execution of campaigns where editorial input is central
\n
Support development of new commercial formats and innovative media solutions
\n
Coordinate forward planning across editorial and commercial teams, ensuring clear visibility of opportunities
\n
Act as a key link between editorial and commercial functions (sales, marketing, ad ops, etc.)
\n
Ensure brand safety and maintain editorial integrity across all commercial activity
\n
Produce pitch materials, decks, and supporting collateral
\n
Contribute to creative brainstorms and support wider commercial strategy, including newsletters and PR engagement
\n

You

Strong editorial background with commercial awareness
\n
Experience working in a media, publishing, or editorial-commercial hybrid role
\n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
\n
Confident managing stakeholders and client relationships
\n
Ability to balance editorial integrity with commercial objectives
\n
Experience creating pitch materials and generating content ideas
\n
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
\n
Comfortable making decisions around brand safety and sensitive content
\n
A proactive, creative, and solutions-focused mindset
