Commercial Finance Business Partner Location: Gateshead Team Valley, UK Reports to: Financial Controller Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for finance and a knack for driving business growth? We are looking for a Commercial Finance Business Partner to join our team and provide valuable financial insights that drive improved decision-making and business results. About the Role Biscuit International are the leading private label and bread substitute manufacturer in Europe, with a rich heritage of over 400 years of expertise in delivering excellent taste at great value. We operate in over 40 markets with operations in 33 factories across Europe employing over 5000 people. Key Responsibilities

Support the Finance team in the preparation and control of standard costings. Create clear costing models and a uniform reporting process. Review and analyse customer and product margin performance. Evaluate new business opportunities and support sales campaigns. Understand, monitor, and evaluate commodity prices and drivers of fluctuation. Lead the development and analysis of commercial KPIs with variance analysis and recommendations. Produce standard product cost for new developments/projects. Provide detailed breakdowns of internal and external costs for price negotiations. Play a key role in month‑end processes, producing detailed variance analysis and investigations. Assist in the development of budgets and forecasts by analysing historical data, market trends, and operational/commercial drivers. Collaborate with various departments to gather information and validate assumptions for accurate financial projections.

Qualifications

Qualified or part‑qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA. Strong written and oral communication skills. Experience in a similar role. Proficiency in Power BI and Excel. Ability to explain complex financial information clearly.
