I am currently partnered with a fantastic business in Glasgow to recruit a Commercial Finance Business Partner on a 6-9 month contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to truly partner and become a trusted advisor to key stake holders and decision makers. This role is designed to push past finance being seen to provide reports and become a true value add business partner. Role Partner with business units to drive financial performance and support strategic decision-making

Provide insight through budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

Translate financial data into actionable commercial insight for non-finance stakeholders

Develop business cases for new initiatives, investments, and projects

Monitor KPIs and commercial metrics to identify risks and opportunities

Support pricing, margin analysis, and profitability assessments

Challenge assumptions and support cost control across departments

Lead monthly performance reviews and provide commentary on results

Collaborate with wider finance team to ensure accurate reporting and compliance

Build strong relationships across commercial, operational, and senior leadership teams
