Are you a commercially minded qualified accountant who enjoys being close to the business, influencing decisions and driving performance, rather than sitting behind spreadsheets? This is an opportunity to step into a high-profile Finance Business Partnering role within a well-established, professional services organisation operating across complex, project-led environments. The role sits at the heart of the business, partnering senior leaders to shape commercial outcomes, improve performance and support strategic decision-making.

This is a true commercial finance role, not a back-office reporting position. You'll be responsible for:

\n

\n Owning and challenging forecasts and budgets, ensuring future revenue, margin and utilisation expectations are robust, realistic and clearly understood

\n

Partnering senior stakeholders across the business, providing insight and challenge to improve both financial and operational performance

\n

Supporting strategic decisions, including pricing, rate cards, investment cases and commercial submissions

\n

Delivering high-quality management and board reporting, translating complex data into clear, actionable insight

\n

Driving continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to simplify, automate and improve financial processes

\n

Supporting ad-hoc strategic projects, including integration activity and potential acquisitive growth initiatives

\n

You'll work closely with finance colleagues and operational leaders, acting as a trusted advisor rather than a scorekeeper.

This is a role for someone who enjoys joining the dots, asking the right questions and helping the business make better decisions. Someone who is likely to be a qualified accountant ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified with direct exposure in a commercial or Business Partnering role previously, confident at working with and presenting to senior, non-finance stakeholders, with strong forecasting, budgeting and performance management capability. A mindset focused on solutions, insight and impact, not just control.
