Commercial Finance Manager

Newly-created Commercial Finance Manager role for an industry-leading Malvern manufacturer. We're looking for a first rate communicator, a natural business partner and someone with an advanced level of proficiency in Excel to provide high‑quality financial insight. The Role

\n\n
\n\t
Producing financial reporting and variance analysis against budget, forecast and historical performance.
\n\t
Developing automated reports and managing daily and monthly reporting cycles.
\n\t
Leading the full budgeting and forecasting process with budget holders.
\n\t
Preparing monthly reporting for Regional Sales Managers to support bonus tracking.
\n\t
Acting as a Finance Business Partner, providing insight, KPI tracking and commercial analysis.
\n\t
Managing margin and cost analysis, including price/volume/mix performance.
\n\t
Supporting monthly financial results preparation
\n\t
Enhancing financial controls, systems and processes
\n\t
Owning key finance master data within the ERP system.
\n

About You
\n\n
\n\n
\n\t
Ideally a qualified or newly qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
\n\t
Experienced in reporting for complex entities, with knowledge of UK GAAP and US GAAP.
\n\t
Proficient in Excel, with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
\n\t
Confident using ERP systems and tools such as Power BI.
\n\t
An effective communicator with the ability to engage cross‑functional teams.
\n\t
Adaptable, organised and able to manage multiple deadlines.
\n\t
Keen to mentor and support colleagues within the finance team.
\n
\n\n
\n\n
Working arrangements
\n\n
\n\n
To begin with office-based 5 days a week and then some degree of hybrid working. Might typically be more like 1 day WFH but on occasions could be 2.
