The UK market for Online Grocery has seen unprecedented growth, with market penetration doubling from 7% to 14%. Asda aims to continue growth in this channel, and the Commercial Finance Manager sits at the heart of the Online business, partnering with the team to develop plans, offer insight, and make commercial recommendations to support growth. About the Role

Partner with the Online Grocery Team to provide Commercial Finance support. Support and challenge the business, driving commercial performance both annually and over a multi‑year horizon. Take part in financial planning, forecasting and business case support. Provide insight, analysis and commercial recommendations that unlock value; act as a self‑starter with an inquisitive mindset. Build strong relationships inside the team and across the wider business; influence and challenge when required.

About You Qualified accountant with a successful track record in commercial finance or business partnering. Excellent analytical capabilities, commercial acumen and the confidence to communicate complex matters simply and effectively to stakeholders. Able to act independently and identify value‑creating opportunities. Further Requirements

Ideal CIMA qualification with relevant years post‑qualification experience; ACCA, ACA or MBA considered. Experience in commercial finance. Strong analytical skills with evidence of value created from commercial recommendations. Advanced Excel skills and data visualisation (e.g. Power‑BI) an advantage. Senior stakeholder management experience. Hybrid working policy: 3–4 days in office, 1–2 days remote.
