A brand new and recently created role has arisen at one of our prestigious US law firm clients for a Commercial Finance Manager to work alongside the team within legal strategic pricing, project management and commercial finance.  The London office is currently experiencing exponential growth and are keen to hire a dynamic individual who is client-service oriented to really lead manage the commercial finance function.

  • Salary to £110,000
  • 09:30-17:30 working hours
  • Hybrid working – 4 days in the office / 1 day remote
  • £100 monthly employee contribution towards lunch or other expenses
  • Liverpool St / City Offices

Commercial Finance Manager Key Responsibilities:

  • Devise, negotiate and implement custom fee arrangements to ensure client's business objectives are satisfied while meeting firm strategic and financial requirements
  • Advise Partners on value-based pricing strategy specific to key practice areas and industries
  • Monitor matter performance against budgets and pricing assumptions; identify variances, escalate risks, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Incorporate legal technology, data analytics and emerging AI-enabled tools
  • Provide research, data analysis, and project support for strategic initiatives and department-wide projects.

Commercial Finance Manager  Skills & Requirements:

 

 

    \n
  • 5 years+ professional experience required, law firm background is highly advantageous
  • Bachelor’s degree required; degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics is preferable
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills. 
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) & legal and financial systems
