Commercial Finance Manager

Salary: Up to £80,000 + Package

Location: Central Birmingham (State-of-the-Art Offices)

A high-profile opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Finance Manager to join a growing and ambitious business in central Birmingham. This role sits close to senior leadership and will play a key part in shaping strategic investment decisions.

You will be responsible for investment appraisal, strategic analysis, and board-level reporting, partnering with senior stakeholders to evaluate opportunities and influence major business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead investment appraisals and financial modelling to support strategic projects and growth initiatives
• Prepare and present clear, commercially focused insights to the board and senior leadership team
• Partner with operational and commercial leaders to challenge assumptions and improve decision-making
• Translate financial analysis into practical recommendations that drive value
• Support strategic planning, business cases, and capital allocation decisions
• Influence stakeholders across the business to ensure financial rigour in commercial decisions

About you

• Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
• Strong background in commercial finance, investment appraisal, or strategic finance
• Confident presenting to senior leadership and board-level stakeholders
• Excellent influencing and stakeholder management skills
• Strong analytical and financial modelling capability
