A very cool growing Agency is looking for a Commercial Financial Controller to join their team. You will be managing a 1 junior and reporting directly in to the MD. This will suit someone who's worked in SMEs and enjoys a hands on role! Financial Management Oversee month-end reporting: payroll, VAT, creditors, debtors, and reconciliations Ensure client billing and invoicing is prompt, accurate, and compliant with contracts Maintain and improve financial controls, processes, and systems Management Reporting Produce meaningful management reports that drive commercial performance Ensure all client teams receive monthly performance updates Identify overservicing, utilisation issues, and project profitability risks and address them quickly Set revenue and profitability targets, tracking progress closely Commercial Leadership Partner with client teams to improve profitability and efficiency Support fee/scope negotiations and staffing decisions using data insights Review and advise on client contracts and new business proposals Lead ‘Sales Meetings’ with client teams to review figures and opportunities Ensure all teams understand and comply with commercial agreements
