Astute's Power Team is partnering with a leading District Heating company to recruit a Commercial Gas Engineer and Senior Gas Engineer working across their sites in London and South.
The Gas Engineer roles come with salary of up to £60,000 + private medical insurance + company van + benefits.

Responsibilities and duties of the Commercial Gas Engineer role
Reporting to the Lead Commercial Engineer you will:
* Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance on commercial plant systems (gas boilers, pumps, valves, heat exchangers, etc.) * Diagnose and repair faults in commercial gas boilers from various manufacturers. * Respond to reactive call-outs, investigate system failures, and reinstate services on site. * Participate in an on-call rota, ensuring critical support outside of core hours (1 week in 4). * Safely isolate systems mechanically and electrically before commencing repairs. * Keep detailed and accurate maintenance records through a digital work order system. * Support root cause analysis for recurring faults to improve system resilience. * Manage small-scale remedial works and help define project scopes with the engineering team. * Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and s...
