Job Description
ROLE: Commercial Gas Engineer (Permanent)\nSALARY: £26 per hour door-to-door\nLOCATION: M25 coverage\nThis role involves carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), servicing, repairs, and occasional installations of commercial gas systems across a diverse client base including government buildings, hotels, schools, courts, and office facilities.\nYou will be responsible for maintaining high standards of safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction, while managing a range of commercial gas appliances. While the role primarily covers London and the South, coverage may be required for sickness or holiday cover. CODNCO1, CIGA1, CDGA1, CORT1, ICPN1, TPCP1A, BMP1).\n * Minimum 5 years of experience working with commercial gas systems.\n * Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills; BMS/controls knowledge is advantageous.\n * Valid full UK driving licence.\n * Excellent understanding of health & safety regulations.\n * Professional communication skills (verbal and written).\n * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.\n * Organised and able to manage workload across multiple sites.\nDUTIES INCLUDE:\n * Conduct planned PPM, servicing, and repairs on commercial gas appliances in accordance with current regulations (SFG20).\n * Perform fault-finding and diagnostics across a variety of commercial gas systems.\n * Undertake occasional installation work, ensuring compliance with industry standards.\n * Provide first-response support during working hours and on-call periods for emergency repairs.\n * Maintain detailed service records and ensure documentation is compliant and audit ready.\n * Follow strict health and safety procedures, including appropriate use of PPE.\n * Work collaboratively with the wider team and escalate complex issues where necessary.\n * Advise clients on best practices for appliance use and safety.\nImmediate interviews are taking place, so please do not delay in applying, should you be interested
