Commercial Gas Engineer – Oxford – 55K\n\nSalary: £45,000 – £55,000 (depending on experience)\nLocation: Oxfordshire, M40 & M4 Corridor\nTravel: M40 corridor, Oxfordshire, North Cotswolds, some London projects work.\n\nThe Company\n\nA well-established building services company based in Oxfordshire, operating successfully for over 30 years are on the lookout for a Domestic Gas Engineer for a growing division.\nThe business works predominantly within:\n\nResidential block management\nHigh-end residential properties\nA small but growing commercial portfolio\nThey have a strong installation team and are now bringing maintenance works in-house as part of a planned growth strategy.\n \nThe Role\n\nThis role suits a well-rounded Commercial Gas Engineer who is confident across installation, maintenance and service works. You’ll be working across commercial plant rooms, large residential properties and new-build developments.\nKey responsibilities include:\n\nFull commercial gas installations on new-build sites\nPipefitting and plant room works\nPlanned preventative maintenance (PPM)\nServicing and fault finding\nBathroom installations and general plumbing\nWorking within large houses and light commercial environments\nThis is a hands-on role requiring a broad commercial gas skill set rather than a purely service-focused background.\n \nWhat They’re Looking For\n\nQualified Commercial Gas Engineer\nExperience across installation, service and maintenance\nConfident working independently on varied projects\nComfortable in both commercial plant rooms and high-end residential settings\nWilling to travel regionally (no regular long-distance travel)\n \nPackage & Benefits\n\n£45,000 – £55,000 (depending on experience)\n40 hour working week\nCompany van & fuel card\nOvertime available\nNo call-out rota\nStandard pension\n28 days holiday\nStrong progression opportunities into senior or supervisory roles\nAs the commercial division grows, this role offers a genuine pathway into leadership, working closely with the client and helping shape the future of the department
