Commercial Gas Engineer Multiple Sites / Field Based Competitive Salary + Van + Benefits Full Time | Permanent

Due to continued growth, an established building services and maintenance contractor is looking to recruit an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join their maintenance division.

This is a mobile role covering a range of commercial sites, carrying out planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs, fault finding and minor works across commercial heating and gas systems.

You’ll be joining a professional and well-established team with long-term contracts in place, offering stability, support and genuine progression opportunities.

The Role

You will be responsible for carrying out:

* Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)

* Reactive breakdowns and emergency callouts

* Fault finding and repairs on commercial gas / heating systems

* Minor remedial and project works

* Maintaining accurate service records and reports

* Managing van stock and materials

* Participating in an out-of-hours call out rota

* Delivering high levels of customer service on client sites

What They’re Looking For

Applicants should have solid experience within commercial gas maintenance and hold relevant current certifications.

Essential:

* Recognised apprenticeship / NVQ Level 3 in Gas / Mechanical Services

* Current commercial gas qualifications including relevant ACS tickets

* Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience

* Knowledge of commercial heating systems

* Full UK driving licence

* Good communication and IT skills

* Able to work independently and solve problems on site

Desirable:

* Mechanical / plumbing maintenance experience

* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)

* Experience mentoring apprentices or junior engineers
