The Role
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Heating Wet Worker Engineer to join our Commercial Service Department. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing pipes and fixtures (radiators, cylinders, etc.) associated with district heating systems in residential properties. This includes testing, inspection, fault diagnosis, and delivering repairs to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose faults and select appropriate tools/materials for repair Install, maintain, and repair radiators, valves, cylinders, thermal stores, tanks, and ancillary equipment Upgrade/repair heating and hot water services Perform inspections and replace worn parts Isolate and cap leaking radiators/valves Wire controls for 2- and 3-port valves and immersions Complete site logs (written and electronic) Respond to callouts for heating/hot water systems, ensuring high first-time fix rates Participate in emergency call-out rota (1 in 5) Adhere to company Health & Safety standards at all timesWhat We're Looking For
Qualifications: Minimum Level 2 NVQ Plumbing or equivalent Experience: Plant rooms, commercial systems, and HIUs (essential) Strong mechanical and technical skills Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities Effective time management and communication skills Commitment to delivering exceptional customer serviceBenefits
