Commercial Insurance Sales Executive

We are working with one of the UK's largest independent Insurance brokers to recruit ambitious and target-driven individuals into their expanding Commercial Insurance team. This business is in a strong growth phase, with plans to double the team over the next 12‑24 months, creating genuine opportunities for career progression into senior, team leader and management roles. The Role You will be working in a fast-paced, high-volume sales environment, dealing with SME clients across sectors such as trades, construction, retail and hospitality. Key responsibilities include:
Managing a high volume of inbound new business enquiries Generating and delivering competitive insurance quotations Converting leads into sales and achieving KPIs Building and maintaining a consistent sales pipelineDeveloping strong product knowledge across commercial insurance Ensuring compliance, accuracy, and quality standards are met
Candidate Profile We are keen to speak with individuals who have:
Previous sales experience (insurance preferred, but open to life, personal lines, travel or other sales backgrounds) A highly motivated and target-driven approach Strong communication and relationship-building skills The ability to thrive in a call centre-style, high-volume environment Excellent timekeeping and reliability A proactive, ambitious mindset with a desire to progress
Salary and Benefits
Basic salary between £27,000 and £35,000 DOE Uncapped monthly bonus, typical earnings of £600-£1,200 per month. Commission structure based on performance, compliance, and timekeeping Clear career progression opportunities into leadership roles Full training on systems including Open GI, Acturis, and internal platforms Company pension 20 days holiday – rising with years of service up to 25 days Quarterly team social events
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 6:00pm (45‑minute lunch) Punctuality is essential
