Commercial Manager
Location: Newark, Nottinghamshire
McMullen Façades is a leading specialist façade manufacturer and contractor, providing full design, fabrication and installation of unitised panels for medium and large scale building projects.
Due to expansion, we are seeking a Commercial Manager to join our team in our manufacturing facility in Newark, Nottinghamshire. This is a new role within our business, working within our manufacturing facility, as part of the wider McMullen Commercial team.
Responsibilities:
Preparation of estimates, quotes and VOs for project teams and monthly invoicing reports.
Overall control of costs and revenue of Newark.
Control of labour costs including payment certs to labour agencies/sub-contractors.
Preparation of productivity and KPI reports to assess efficiency and profitability of the business unit.
Support to stock control and material usage.
Preparation of supporting documentation for Vesting Certificates to project teams.
General reporting and support to the operations team and business.
Requirements:
Degree or equivalent in Construction, Quantity Surveying or similar relevant discipline.
Experience in Quantity Surveying/Commercial Management/Finance within a manufacturing and or construction business.
High degree of computer literacy · Highly developed interpersonal, people and client management skills.
Commercially astute with ability to implement and manage project / manufacturing budgets
