We’re looking for a Commercial Manager for our public sector client on an initial 6-month contract, with a view to extending, paying up to £550 per day inside IR35.

This role offers hybrid working, with an expectation to attend the office 3 days per week. You can work out of London, Croydon, Manchester, or Liverpool. Flexible working arrangements can be considered.

The successful Commercial Manager will support a high-profile portfolio delivering common services across a large government organisation, including Enterprise IT services. You will play a key role in re-procurement activity for critical services such as CRM solutions, contact centre services, external calling, and device support, alongside providing commercial and contract management support for existing BAU services.

You will need proven experience working with the following:

End-to-end public sector procurement, particularly via CCS frameworks

Leading re-procurement and call-off contracts for IT services within complex programmes

Market engagement activities including supplier engagement, questionnaires, and events

Production of procurement documentation including ITT, approvals, contract award and management

Contract management, including commercial advice, governance, and escalation support

Working within regulated procurement environments and ensuring compliance with public sector regulations

Stakeholder engagement and influencing across multi-disciplinary teams and governance boards

Managing supplier relationships including incumbents, TUPE considerations, and transition planning

Working closely with legal teams to identify and mitigate commercial and regulatory risks

You will need to have current SC clearance or have the ability to pass Security Clearance (SC).

Desirable:

CIPS or MCIPS qualification

Experience aligning procurement with government guidance and playbooks
