Role: Commercial Manager (Contracts)

The Role

Lead the full lifecycle of complex commercial contracts from bid strategy and negotiation through to delivery and close-out. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, drive successful bids, manage contract performance, and ensure compliance across defence programmes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own the route-to-contract: bidding, pricing strategy, proposals, and negotiations
  • Manage and optimise contracts through delivery and closure
  • Identify and mitigate commercial risks and opportunities
  • Act as the commercial lead with customers and internal teams
  • Ensure compliance with defence regulations and governance
  • Provide reporting and insights to senior leadership


What We’re Looking For

  • Proven commercial/contract management experience
  • Strong negotiation and contract drafting skills
  • Ability to manage multiple complex contracts
  • Leadership experience and strong stakeholder engagement
  • Experience working in a highly regulated/high complexity environment
