Commercial Manager - Transmission & Renewables

Permanent/ Hybrid role.

Turner Lovell is recruiting an experienced Commercial Manager to join a leading EPC Contractor with a turnover exceeding £1 billion in the electricity and renewable energy sector. Following the award of multi-year framework agreements, the company is expanding its team to deliver turnkey HV substation projects across the UK, ranging from £20 million to £300 million.

Role Summary

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Commercial Manager to take the lead on some of the major Transmission projects.

We're seeking someone who can oversee commercial activities across a portfolio of high‑profile schemes, working closely with project teams to protect margin, reduce risk, and strengthen commercial performance.

You'll provide guidance to MQS, QS and AQS colleagues, while helping to embed commercial best practice across project and site personnel.
You'll support accurate reporting, forecasting and claims preparation, ensuring all commercial outputs are delivered on time and aligned with the project risk management plan.
You'll also take ownership of subcontractor management and financial reporting, ensuring consistency and strong commercial governance across all projects.

Requirements:

Confident working with major contract forms such as NEC3/4, JCT, and FIDIC.
