Commercial Manager Fresh ProduceFresh People are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Manager to join a highly successful and growing fresh produce business based in Maidstone in Kent.This business has experienced significant growth over the past four years and is now a recognised market leader in sourcing, production and distribution of fresh produce to major UK retailers. Due to continued expansion, they are seeking a commercially driven individual to take ownership of key customer accounts and drive strategic growth.The RoleAs Commercial Manager, you will lead the commercial management and strategic development of key retail accounts, driving sales, volume and margin growth through strong category management, collaborative planning and cross-functional coordination.This role would suit someone currently operating as a Commercial Executive, Junior Commercial Manager or Account Manager within fresh produce or FMCG, looking to take the next step in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and strategically grow key customer accountsDevelop and implement category strategies aligned with customer objectivesDeliver data-led insights through analysis of market trends, competitor activity and product performanceBuild strong, collaborative relationships with commercial, supply chain and technical teamsDrive product development initiatives with creative and technical inputEnsure promotional plans are effectively executed to maximise salesIdentify supply chain efficiencies and cost-saving opportunitiesProvide accurate sales forecasting and margin reportingLead customer review meetings and manage follow-up actionsMaintain strong administrative, commercial and financial controlsAbout YouExperience in account management, category management or commercial roles within fresh produce or FMCGCommercially astute with strong analytical and forecasting skillsConfident working with large data sets and producing financial reportsHighly organised with strong project management capabilityProactive, solutions-focused and comfortable working cross-functionallyStrong communicator with the ability to influence stakeholdersAdvanced Microsoft Office skillsIf this role describes you reach out today to discuss in more detail by sending across your CVJBRP1_UKTJ
