An engineering services business in the defence sector require a Commercial Officer. Applicants could be; law graduates, those with placement year experience in commercial contracts, or commercial contracts professionals working in B2B.

The Commercial Officer will join a large and supportive, multi-disciplined commercial team. The Commercial Officer will contribute to the delivery of commercially/contractually sound bids and ensure the compliant day-to-day management of contracts, maximising opportunity and minimising risk.

Specific duties of the Commercial Officer include:

Support bids an projects team on contractual terms, obligations and best practice Monitor contract performance in respect of contractual KPIs Serve as point of contact for the customer in regards to any commercial queries Day-to-day contract management and change activities; amendments, negotiations, variations etc. Support bids and sales colleagues prepare commercial response to new business opportunities Collation of contract performance data to drive future commercial decisions

Commercial Officer applicants should meet the following criteria:
