We're now looking for a Commercial Operations Manager to join our growing team — a pivotal position that bridges our Commercial and Operational functions to make sure our clients receive outstanding service, insight and support.
What You'll Do
As a Commercial Operations Manager, you'll act as the central communication bridge between Account Management and Operations — ensuring smooth, accurate and proactive information flow. You'll bring a blend of commercial acumen, data-led insight and operational understanding to help improve service performance, drive efficiency and enhance client experience.
This is a Remote role but the ideal candidate will be based in the Midlands due to business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the central communication link between Commercial (Account Management) and Operations.
Analyse operational data, identify trends and drive performance improvements across domestic and international lanes (including China cross-border).
Support forecasting and volume planning with data-driven recommendations.
Own service communications including daily updates, flash reports and incident communications.
Lead operational setup for new clients, services, projects and cross-functional initiatives across Sales, Ops/Planning, Client Development and Finance.
Provide insights, issue resolution and escalation support to Client Managers.
Support the international inbound channel, particularly China cross-border movements.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for 3+ years in client service or account management or Data/Operations experience, ideally in logistics or parcel delivery.
We would also consider graduates
Experience operating within a logistics network is essential.
Strong data capability — Advanced Excel, PowerBI, SQL essential.
Experience in Evri operations (Hubs/Depots) highly advantageous.
Client-facing experience beneficial.
Knowledge of international inbound / cross-border logistics advantageous.
Mandarin language skills highly advantageous.
Interest or experience in GenAI for efficiency gains desirable.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Strong organisation and time management.
GCSE-level education or equivalent industry experience.
Excellent written and verbal English.
Strong IT literacy, particularly MS Office.
