Overview

A leading Legal 500 firm in the North Manchester area is seeking an ambitious Commercial Property Associate to join its dynamic and growing Property team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an associate with strong technical experience to take the next step in their career, with future management responsibilities and potential pathway to partnership.

The successful candidate will work on high-value commercial property matters across a variety of sectors, contributing to the continued growth and success of a top-ranked property practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Act on a diverse range of commercial property transactions, including acquisitions and disposals, leasing, landlord and tenant matters, development and investment work.
• Advise clients on complex property issues, providing practical, commercially focused solutions.
• Manage files from instruction through to completion, ensuring high-quality service and client satisfaction.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, agents, and other stakeholders.
• Mentor and support junior team members, contributing to the development of the practice.
• Assist in business development initiatives, including identifying cross-selling opportunities and maintaining client relationships.
• Contribute to strategic planning for team growth and development, with a view to future management responsibilities or partnership.

About You

• Qualified Solicitor with relevant PQE in commercial property law.
• Strong technical knowledge across commercial property matters, with experience handling complex transactions.
• Proven ability to manage a varied caseload independently.
• Excellent communication, client-care, and organisational skills.
• Ambitious, proactive, and commercially minded, with an interest in taking on management responsibilities.
• Comfortable working in a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
